Dr. Warren Chen
Therapeutic Optometrist
Optometric Glaucoma Specialist
Dr. Chen graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then received his doctorate from the University of Houston College of Optometry and went on to continue his optometry studies at both Northeastern State University and Heights Eye Center, where he had extensive, hands-on experience in corneal diseases, cataract pre- and post-op exams, and retinal pathology.
Dr. Chen is certified by the Texas Optometry Board and currently serves as a therapeutic optometrist and glaucoma specialist. He practices all aspects of optometry, ranging from binocular vision to “dry eye” care. Additionally, Dr. Chen is a member of the Texas Optometric Association, an organization that supports the growth of optometry through outstanding patient care.
On a more personal note, Dr. Chen is highly motivated and more than ready to serve his community. When he’s not performing eye exams or offering advice on the latest eyewear, Dr. Chen enjoys basketball, watching sports on TV (he’s a big Houston sports fan…go, Astros!), playing computer games, spending time with family and friends, and moonlighting as a foodie on Yelp!
